This early start was driven by favorable winter and spring weather conditions, leading to an abundant yield.   Export Markets: Uzbek cherries are highly sought after in international markets, particularly in Russia, China, and the Middle East. The early ripening and quality of the cherries have bolstered Uzbekistan’s position as a key exporter in the region.   Challenges Faced Size of Cherries: Despite the high yield, the proportion of large-caliber cherries (28 mm) is limited. Unusually high temperatures in late April and early May accelerated the ripening process, resulting in smaller average fruit sizes.
